Waterproof Casting & Splinting

Our physiotherapists are skilled in the construction and application of casts and splints following fracture, surgery, soft tissue and other injuries. We use synthetic (fibreglass) casting material with a waterproof liner to assemble our casts. Our synthetic casts are waterproof, lighter and cooler than the traditional white plaster of paris casts. Our casts are competitively priced and prices vary depending on the type and size of cast. Please ask our receptionists for further details. We also provide a plaster removal service.

We stock a range of thermoplastic splinting material to create custom splints for your individual needs. We also stock a large variety off the shelf splints and braces. If you require a specific splint or brace that we don’t have in stock, we will order one for you directly from our suppliers (usually within a couple of days).

Equipment

Our Nowra based clinic stocks a variety of equipment including various splints, braces, bandages and plaster, sports tape, kinesiology tape, heat packs, cold packs, pain relief modalities (including TENS machines), exercise and rehabilitation equipment. If we don’t have the piece of equipment you require in stock, we will order it for you directly from our suppliers. We are able to provide bulk equipment supplies for local sports clubs and organisations. If you have any equipment needs or queries, please contact our reception staff regarding stock availability.
